Independent sourcing service. Not boxabl, not a manufacturer or an authorized dealer, and not affiliated with boxabl. We source and compare alternative products; we do not claim to supply the original brand.

How GridAxis Sourcing Keeps the Quote Desk Independent

GridAxis Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner for business buyers who need alternative prefabricated houses or folding units. The desk is not a factory, not a dealer, and not an affiliate of the brand a buyer may have searched. Work starts when the requirement is specific enough to send.

What happens to a brief, in order

1

Read the search as a clue

The named product tells us which form the buyer has in mind. It does not become our identity, and it is not copied as a specification. The buyer still describes use and occupancy in ordinary language.

2

Write the geometry

Footprint, height, layout, and, for a folding unit, both the transport envelope and the opened plan go into one note. Mixed unit systems are converted before anyone is asked to price.

3

Separate the commercial lines

Shell, delivered, installed, and turnkey stay in different columns. Foundation, utilities, permits, and site work are marked buyer-side unless a supplier explicitly accepts them.

4

Ask factories the same questions

Each recipient sees the same use, loads, quantity, destination, and document list. Answers that skip a line are sent back. This desk does not fill a blank with a guess.

5

Return the comparison

The buyer receives the quotations organized, with deviations visible. Award, code acceptance, and contract terms stay with the buyer and the professionals the buyer appoints.

Boundaries that stay in writing

No plant story

We do not publish a founding year, a headcount, or a production volume. Those figures belong to factories that choose to disclose them on their own documents.

No borrowed badges

IBC, IRC, HUD Code, ASCE 7, AISC 360, AWS D1.1, IAS AC472, and ISO 9001 are names of standards or programs to ask about. They are not credentials of this website.

No price theater

There is no published percent off a market price. A budget the buyer offers is optional and is not treated as a quotation already in hand.

No silent substitution

A different frame, coating, or finish level is a deviation. It is shown to the buyer before it is treated as acceptable.

No inventory claim

Catalog names are inquiry options. Actual configuration, availability and documentation must be confirmed by the supplier.

No code ruling

Jurisdiction and design criteria are collected so suppliers can respond. The desk does not tell a city that a building complies.

Start from the checklist, not from a slogan

If the six RFQ items are known, send them. If some are still open, say so. Factories can quote only the lines that are actually defined, and GridAxis Sourcing will keep the open lines labeled.
